MY PROBLEM WAS...

Your period symptoms have gone from annoying to unbearable. The cramps, bloating, and PMS leave you drained before the day has even started

You tell yourself, “It’s just a busy season,” but deep down, you know it never really slows down

You’ve tried all the supplements, diets, and wellness hacks, hoping one will finally work, but nothing really changes

I spent years trying to outwork my exhaustion, telling myself I just needed more discipline, more structure, or the right supplement

 Everything changed when I stopped pushing through and started listening to what my body actually needed

A Look Back At My Journey

Started experiencing migraines, mood swings and fatigue on hormonal birth control
After 18-months of back and forth, diagnosed with PCOS and left traumatised when the doctor who told me I'd struggle to fall pregnant

Landed my first corporate marketing role and felt massive imposter syndrome with no support led to burnout #2
Irregular 60-day menstrual cycle and pain so bad I had to take sick leave every month

Diagnosed with pneumonia at 30, burnout #1 hit out of nowhere, a month after my wedding 
Moved back home to the UK and spent 6-months  recovering at my parents

Start a new role and didn't pass probation after the first three months
Pushed myself harder and ended up getting promoted at the end of the year
Periods still a mess, anxiety through the roof trying to work a FT job and freelance on the side

What it took to build
Nine to Five Wellness

Burnout #3 hit, constant anxiety, insomnia and cried through my 1:1 s with my manager
Quit by the end of the year and swore never to go back to corporate again

Went back to corporate for a stable salary and jumped 4 levels, making Director in less than 5 years (instead of the typical 8)
Fast-paced role at a Big Four agency led to burnout #4 and 7-weeks off with a mystery illness

Freelanced full-time but my health kept declining, hair loss, waking up at 3 am and struggling to lose weight
Started an 18-month journey with a trauma healer and embodiment coach

Finally admitted that I was the common denominator and decided to heal myself by studying hormone health, coaching and somatics
Menstrual cycle regulated to 29 days with no symptoms and regular ovulation

I wasn't struggling because I didn't know what to do, I was struggling because I didn't know how to change

This certification gave me the tools to understand why we get stuck in patterns like perfectionism, over-committing and never feeling like enough and more importantly, how to shift them

This certification was a powerful reminder that our bodies always keep the score

I'd tried talking therapy of years, but it wasn't until I learned to work with my body that real change happened

This is where I discovered how stress, trauma and emotional overwhelm show up physically and how to use tools like breathwork, grounding and nervous system regulation to feel safe again

It's the missing piece that helped me move from understand my patterns to releasing them and it's now a core part of the work I do with clients
